Is there a God?

Does God Exist? Is there evidence? The following article provides honest and straightforward reasons to believe in the existence of God ...

Do not you wish that someone would show-in a simply way the evidence of the existence of God? Without forcing or phrases like "you just have to believe." Well, here we present some of the reasons honestly arguing that God exists.

But first consider this. If a person opposes even the possibility that there is a God, he could challenge or discard any evidence. For those who refuse to believe that man has walked on the moon, there is no information that changes your thinking. The footage of astronauts walking on the moon, interviews with these astronauts, moon rocks ... all the evidence would be worthless because this person has already determined and concluded that man can not go to the moon.

When referring to the existence of God, the Bible says that there are people who have seen sufficient evidence, but they have suppressed the truth about God.1 But for those who want to know if God is there, He says, " You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart ".2 Before seeing the facts show the existence of God, ask yourself," If God exists, I would like to meet him? " Here then, are some reasons to consider ...

1. Does God exist? The complexity of our planet points to a deliberate Designer who not only created our universe, but sustains it today.

Many design examples could be given a God possibly endless. Here a few:

The Earth ... its size is perfect. The size of the Earth and its respective severity contain a thin layer composed mostly of nitrogen and oxygen which extends 80 kilometers above the surface of the Earth. If the Earth were smaller, had atmosphere would be impossible, as is the case of Mercury. If Earth were larger, its atmosphere would contain free hydrogen, as Júpiter.3

Earth is the only known planet equipped with an atmosphere composed of a suitable mixture of gases that sustain the plants, animals and humans.

The Earth is located at the right distance from the sun. Consider the temperatures we have, approximately range from -35 ° C to 50 ° C. If the Earth were a little farther from the sun, we would all freeze. If it were a little closer and we would burn. Even a small fracción- -a variation in the position of the Earth with respect sun would make it impossible life on Earth. The Earth remains at a perfect distance from the sun while rotating around it at a speed close to 107,000 kilometers per hour. This also rotating on its axis, allowing the entire surface of the Earth is perfectly heated and cooled every day.

Our moon has the size and distance from Earth perfect for its gravitational pull. The moon creates tides and ocean movements so that its waters do not stagnate, and at the same time prevents these same flood the continents.4

Water ... colorless, odorless and tasteless, yet no living thing can survive without it. The plants, animals and humans are composed mostly of water (about two-thirds of the human body is composed of water). Now let's see why water features are unique and special for life:

Have boiling points and freezing unusually high. Water allows us to live in an environment of changing temperatures, while keeping our bodies at a temperature of 37º C.

Water is a universal solvent. This property of water allows thousands of chemicals, minerals and nutrients are transported through our bodies and into the blood vessels more pequeños.5

Water is also chemically neutral. Without affecting the composition of substances, water enables food, medicines and minerals to be absorbed and used by the body.

Water has a unique surface tension that allows plants to flow upward despite the gravity, which carries water and vital nutrients to the tops of the tallest trees.

Water freezes up and down, and floats so that the fish can survive the winter.

Ninety-seven percent of Earth's water is in the oceans. But on our Earth, there is a system designed which removes salt from water and then distributed throughout the globe. Evaporation takes the ocean waters, leaving the salt, and forms clouds which are easily moved by the wind to disperse water over the land, vegetation, animals and people. It is a system of purification and supply that sustains life on the planet, is a system to recycle and reuse water.6

2. Does God exist? The complexity of the human brain shows a higher intelligence behind it.

The human brain ... simultaneously processes an amazing amount of information. Your brain takes in all the colors and objects you see, the temperature around you, the pressure of your feet on the floor, the sounds around you, the dryness of your mouth, even the texture of your keyboard. Your brain registers and processes all your emotions, thoughts and memories. At the same time monitors continuous functions of your body like breathing, blinking, hunger and movement of the muscles in your hands.

The human brain processes more than a million messages per segundo.7 Your brain evaluates the importance of all this data, filtering out the relatively unimportant. This filtering function is what allows you to focus and operate effectively in your world. A brain that processes more than one million data per second, while evaluating the importance of them and allows you to act according to the most relevant information ... emerged as a product of mere chance?

Were do you simply biological causes, perfectly formed adequate tissue, blood flow, neurons, and structure? The brain works in a very different way than other organs. There is intelligence in it, the ability to reason, to generate feelings, to dream and plan, act, and relate to others. How does one explain the human brain ?.

3. Does God exist? The mere chance or "natural causes" are inadequate explanations.

The alternative to God existing is that all that exists around us appeared natural cause and random. If someone is playing with dice, the probability of achieving a pair of sixes is one thing. But the probability that given this white, and black dots appear is completely different. What Pasteur attempted to prove centuries ago, and science confirms, is that life can not arise from non-life. Where do human life, animal and plant?

Also, the "natural causes" are an inadequate explanation for the amount of precise information contained in human DNA. A person who dismisses God left with the conclusion that this appeared without cause, without design, product simply good fortune. This intellectually wanting to observe intricate design and attribute it to luck.

4. Does God exist? To say with certainty that there is no God, the person has to ignore the passion of a vast number of people who are convinced that there is God.

This is not to say that if enough people believe something, therefore it is true. Science, for example, has discovered new truths about the universe that supersede previous conclusions. While science has progressed, no scientific discovery that contradicts the numerical probability of an existing behind this intelligent Being. In fact, the more science discovers about human life and the more complex and precisely designed universe we realize that they are. Rather than pointing away from God, evidence accumulates and oriented towards an Intelligent source. But objective evidence is not everything.

There is a much larger appearance. Throughout history, billions of people worldwide have witnessed its essential and enduring convictions about God's existence -alcanzadas from their subjective, personal relationship with God. Millions could give a detailed account of his experience with God. They speak to us of their prayers and met the amazing ways God has met their needs, and guided them through important personal decisions. They would offer not only a description of their beliefs, but detailed reports of God's actions in their lives. Many are sure that a loving God exists and has shown them to be faithful. If you are a skeptic, you can safely say: "I am absolutely right and they are wrong about God".

5. Does God exist? We know God exists because we are looking for. He is constantly initiating get us to go to meet him.

I was an atheist at one time. And like many atheists, the issue of people believing in God bothered me greatly. That makes atheists spend so much time, attention and energy refuting something that we do not believe even exists ?. What motivates us to do that? When I was an atheist, I attributed my intentions to the true interest for those poor and disillusioned people ... to help them understand that their hope was completely unfounded. To be honest, I also had another motive. While questioning those who believe in God, I was deeply curious to see if they could convince me. Part of my quest was to rid the subject of God. If I could definitely prove to believers that they were wrong, then the issue was beyond discussion and would be free to continue my life.

I did not realize that the reason why the topic of God weighed so heavily on my mind, was because God was urging. I have come to find out that God wants to be known. It was created with the intention to know him. He has surrounded evidence about Him, and keeps the issue of their existence directly to us. It was as if I could not escape thinking about the possibility of the existence of God. In fact, the day I chose to accept the existence of God, my prayer began with, "OK, you win .." It could be that the underlying reason atheists bother them believers in God is because God is actively looking for them.

I'm not the only one who has experienced this. Malcolm Muggeridge, socialist and philosophical author, wrote, "I had the notion that somehow, besides being like, I was being searched". Clive S. Lewis said remember "... night after night, when my mind was left for a second my work, a continuous and unrelenting approach of Him whom I so earnestly desired not to meet. I surrendered, and admitting that God was God, I knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, I was the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England. "

Lewis proceeded to write a book entitled "Surprised to Joy" as a result of knowing God.

I also had no expectations that properly support the existence of God. But in the following months, I was amazed at his love for me.

6. Does God exist? Unlike any other revelation of God, Jesus Christ is the image clearer, more specific of a God looking for us.

Why did Jesus? Look through the major religions of the world, and find that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius and Moses, all of them identify themselves as teachers or prophets. None of them ever claimed to be equal with God. Surprisingly, Jesus did. That's what separates Jesus from all others. He said God exists and you're looking at Him. Although He spoke of his Father in Heaven, it was not from the position of separation, but tight binding. Jesus said that anyone who saw it, had seen the Father, anyone who believed in him, believed in the Father.

He said, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life" .8 He claimed to have attributes that belong only to God to forgive the sins of the people, free them from habits of sin, give a more abundant life and give them eternal life in Heaven. Unlike other teachers who focused people on their words, Jesus led people to himself. He did not just say, "follow my words and find the truth." He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except girders Me" .9

What evidence did Jesus of his divinity? He did what people can not do. Jesus performed miracles. He healed people ... blind, crippled, deaf, even raised a couple of people from the dead. He had power over objects ... he took food from nothing, enough to feed thousands. He did miracles in nature ... walked on a lake, ordered a stop to a strong storm to help his friends. People everywhere followed Jesus because He constantly met their needs, doing the miraculous. He said, "If you do not want to believe what I'm telling you, they should at least believe on me through the miracles they are seeing" 10

Jesus showed us a tender, loving, aware of our selfishness and limitations God, yet deeply desiring an intimate relationship with us. Jesus revealed that although God views us as sinners, worthy of his punishment, his love for us prevailed, and created a different plan. Jesus Christ-a too- God took the form of a man and accepted the punishment for our sins on our behalf. Sounds absurd? Perhaps, but many loving parents would change places with their sick children in a cancer ward if they could. The Bible says the reason to love God is because He first loved us.

Jesus died in our place for us to be forgiven. Of all the religions known to humanity, only through Jesus you will see a God coming to humanity, giving us a way to have a relationship with Him. Jesus tests us a divine heart of love, meeting our needs, bringing us closer to Him. Due to the death and resurrection of Jesus, He gives us a new life today. We can be forgiven, fully accepted by God and genuinely accepted by God. He says "I have loved you with an endless love, so I kept my faith in you." 11 That is God in action.

Does God exist? If you want to know, investigate Jesus Christ. We are told "God so loved the world that December his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" .12

God does not force us to believe in Him, if I could. Instead, He has provided sufficient proof of his existence for us to willingly and gladly respond. The perfect distance from Earth to the sun, the unique chemical properties of water, the human brain, DNA, the number of people who attest to know God, the longing in our hearts and minds to determine if God is there, the overwhelming desire God be known through Jesus Christ. If you need to know more about Jesus and reasons to believe in him, please see: Beyond Blind Faith.

If you want to start a relationship with God now, you can.

That is your decision, no coercion here. But if you want to be forgiven by God and attain a relationship with, you can start right now by asking forgive you and come into your life. Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door [of your heart] and touching. Whoever hears my voice and opens the door, I will come to him [or her]." 13

If you want to, but not sure how to put it into words, this may help: "Jesus, thank you for dying for my sins You know my life and I need to be forgiven I ask you to forgive me right now and come into my life I want... really know. Come into my life now. I appreciate you want to have a relationship with me. Amen. "

God sees your relationship with Him as permanent. Referring to all those who believe in Him, Jesus Christ said of us, "I know them, and they follow me, and I give them eternal life, they will never perish, and no them out of my hand" .14
